The goal of the SIX Maintenance 2030 industrial workshop is to explore and address the evolving maintenance requirements for off-road mobile machinery by the year 2030. Our aim is to identify key challenges and develop proactive solutions to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of these machines in the coming decade.
Our approach is steered by a collaborative SIX ecosystem to attain the goals of Maintenance in 2030. We actively engage with diverse companies to execute research and development projects, fostering innovation and collectively shaping the future of maintenance practices
Mark your calendars! The industrial workshop event is scheduled for Friday, December 1, 2023, from 10:00 to 12:15 at Kampus Arena, Tampere. This gathering is not just an event; it's a platform where we will collectively shape our vision, define goals, and outline the next crucial steps for the maintenance landscape in 2030. Beyond the discussions, it's an excellent opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations who share a keen interest in paving the roadmap for maintenance 2030 for off-road mobile machinery.
The event will be opened by Harri Nieminen, SIX Initiative director and prof. Dr. Tatiana Minav from Tampere University
Eric Stigzelius will give a keynote speech on "Normet- connected solutions"
Mikko Hankaniemi from Ponsse will present on the topic “How Future intelligent machine components play a critical role in advanced maintenance?”

In addition to industrial perspective, TAU, VTT and Aalto will present Researchers’ Perspective to support realization of Maintenance 2030 in off-road mobile machinery.
In the second half of the event, we have set aside time to discuss the Maintenance Free Future needs.
