ROS 2 Forum

Tampere University Mechatronics Research Group and SIX Mobile Work Machines cluster are organizing the 5th open technical workshop on the Robot Operating System 2 (ROS 2). It is intended for anyone interested in ROS 2 and its practical use in industry and academia. We want to keep growing the Finnish ROS 2 community, so please see this as an opportunity to network and exchange ideas with colleagues, and feel free to forward this invitation to any interested party.

We are looking for oral presentations of about 20 minutes. Posters and demos are also welcome. Suggested topics:

·       Practical software development with ROS 2

·       Technical insights into ROS 2 concepts and internals

·       ROS 2 in real application scenarios: heavy machinery, robotics, manufacturing, unmanned vehicles

·       ROS 2 as an enabler for new business and for co-operation between organizations
